Saltpeter warehouse was damaged during shelling of the Stirol chemical plant in Gorlovka by the Armed Forces of Ukraine

During the shelling of the chemical plant “Stirol” in Gorlovka (DPR), Ukrainian troops damaged a saltpeter warehouse. This was announced by the mayor of the city Ivan Prikhodko.
“As a result of the shelling of the State Unitary Enterprise Stirol by Ukrainian neo-Nazis, according to updated data, an enemy shell exploded near the saltpeter warehouse, damaging the building,” Prikhodko wrote in his Telegram channel. He clarified that the glazing and fencing of the carbamide shop were broken.
Gorlovka is located 50 km north of Donetsk, where the Stirol chemical concern and coal mining enterprises are located. This is one of the largest settlements in the Donetsk People’s Republic: before the start of the conflict in Donbass, the city’s population numbered more than 250,000 people.
