Saldo told how the Armed Forces of Ukraine fired on their soldiers for escaping

Acting head of the Kherson region Volodymyr Saldo published in his Telegram channel, a video of a conversation with two soldiers of the 123rd Territorial Defense Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who were taken prisoner by Russian servicemen on the islands.
He said that the story of these soldiers is quite typical – they were mobilized by force, trained in training camps somehow, and then left in combat positions without provisions, water and ammunition.
“Members of the group decided to leave the islands without an order. Their withdrawal was tracked down by a Ukrainian drone and called on them by artillery fire … Two managed to reach our military and surrender,” wrote Saldo.
