Sakhalin snowboarder Sofia Nadyrshina won gold and bronze medals at the Russian Cup. The competition took place at the Abzakovo ski resort in Bashkortostan and brought together about 200 athletes from 17 regions of Russia, the press service of the regional Ministry of Sports reported.
Snowboarders competed in parallel slalom and parallel giant slalom. Sofia Nadyrshina won gold in the first discipline, bronze in the second.
The next stages of the Russian Cup will take place at the Oktyabrsky ski complex in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug and at the Chekeril sports complex in Izhevsk.
