“Sakhalin Sharks” beat the “Academy SKA-Junior” team from the Moscow region

The Sakhalin Sharks hockey team won the second meeting with the SKA-Junior Academy from Krasnogorsk near Moscow. The match took place on October 21 in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, the press service of the Sakhalin Sharks reported.
In the first match, the island hockey players lost to their opponents from the Moscow region in shootouts with a score of 5:6. After the defeat, the Sakhalin Sharks coaching staff made minor changes to the team. Stanislav Korneev was put on goal, and Bogdan Petrenko and Egor Polyatsko also took to the ice.
In the first period, the Sakhalin team lost with a score of 1:3 – only Nikita Morozov sent the puck into the opponent’s goal. In the second period, only the Sakhalin Sharks scored. Ilya Koval and Ruslan Tyutyunnikov scored successful shots. The match ended with a score of 4:3 in favor of the Sakhalin Sharks.
Next time the Sakhalin team will play with the SKA-1946 team from St. Petersburg. The match will take place at the Arena City ice complex on October 25, starting at 19:00. Free admission.
