An athlete from the sports training center of the Sakhalin region, Konstantin Kokovurov (coaches Leonid Kim and Anastasia Kim), won second place at the 53rd traditional international karate tournament “Golden Belt”, held in the Serbian city of Cacak. This was reported by the press service of the regional Ministry of Sports.

The athlete won four fights and reached the finals in the weight category over 84 kg. As a result, he lost in the last fight and took second place.

Athletes from Serbia, Slovakia, Montenegro, Romania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Hungary, Bulgaria, North Macedonia, France, Italy, Sweden, Turkey, Croatia and Greece came to the competition.
