The Sakhalin team played with HC Ermak as part of the Junior Hockey League championship. The matches that took place in Angarsk brought the islanders two victories, the press service of the Crystal sports school reported.

In the first match, the Sakhalin team took control of the home team’s zone, but the opponents used the moments of their penalties to their advantage, so at the end of the game the gap was minimal – 3:4. In the final period, “Ermak” removed the goalkeeper a minute before the whistle, which influenced the outcome of the meeting: “Crystal” threw the puck into the empty goal for the Angara team. The meeting ended with a score of 3:5 in favor of the Sakhaliners.

In the second match the teams were level with the score 3:3. Only in the third segment of the game did active confrontation between the teams begin. As a result, “Crystal” celebrated the victory with a score of 8:4.

Based on the results of the past games, “Crystal” took fifth place in the standings in the “East” group. The Sakhalin team will play their next games on their home field. On December 9 and 10 they will play a series of matches with the Primorsky Admiral.
