Deputy Chairman of the Government of Sakhalin Vladimir Yushchuk said that a centralized purchase was carried out to provide equipment for citizens called up as part of partial mobilization. Earlier, residents complained about the lack of equipment for the mobilized.
“For these purposes, the government of the Sakhalin Region conducted a centralized purchase. Military equipment was provided 100%, all uniforms that meet the standard of the military service charter were organized, ”he said (quoted from Sakh.online).
Residents of the region have created several chats (one, 2) in Telegram, where they organize themselves to help those who were called up as part of the mobilization. They knit socks for the soldiers, sew stretchers, collect provisions and medicines.
In the pharmacies of Sakhalin, the level of prices for medicines has risen sharply. First of all, hemostatic drugs and dressings. “I came to the pharmacy, they say that many items are no longer there. So, for example, I couldn’t buy pills for fever, which I usually always take with me on the road. What’s left is much more expensive. They say in the pharmacy that they don’t have time to deliver goods to the island – demand has grown five times more than usual, ”the mobilized Alexander told Kommersant.
Several social pharmacies in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk have begun selling special kits of medicines for the mobilized. They contain anti-inflammatory, anti-burn, wound healing, analgesic, antipyretic, antiseptic drugs, diarrhea remedies, as well as dressings. The cost of such a set is up to 2 thousand rubles.
Pharmacists assured Kommersant that they were doing the maximum possible discount on them, so such kits are cheaper than buying drugs separately. But these sets are quickly dismantled. Buyers note the absence of tourniquets in the kits, which are now in short supply in all pharmacies of the island region.
