Sailing competitions to be held in Monchegorsk over the weekend

In the Murmansk region, a series of sporting events continues as part of the 63rd Students’ Holiday of the North. On Saturday, April 8, the opening of sailing competitions took place in Monchegorsk.
The opening ceremony took place at the water station on Bredova Street. Northerners of all ages have gathered here to watch the work of professional athletes and amateurs.
Competitors will test themselves in a number of disciplines: class – snowkiting course-flight – board and class – snowkiting course-flight – skiing. The announcement of the event was published on the portal of the government of the Murmansk region.
Sailing competitions continue in Monchegorsk on April 9th. On Sunday at 15:30 a solemn closing ceremony of the event will take place. It will award winners and prize-winners.
Earlier, “MK in Murmansk” said that in the Murmansk “Valley of Comfort” on April 8 and 9 will be held cycling competition.
