Nikas Safronov recently complained that he, like many of Vyacheslav Zaitsev’s star friends, was not invited to the fashion designer’s anniversary. The couturier’s assistants decided to correct the mistake and invited the artist to a new event with Zaitsev. As a result, Safronov turned out to be the only known person who came to support Vyacheslav Mikhailovich.

“I accomplished a feat today,” Nikas admitted. Everyone knows that I work at night. Today I went to bed at 9 am and got up at 12 noon to see my old friend Slava Zaitsev and to say personally that I love him.

But, apparently, Safronov was embarrassed from lack of sleep in the first second – he began to congratulate the fashion designer on his birthday. Although it was almost a month ago.

“I didn’t go with a memorized text, but spoke from the heart,” Safronov explained. – And the audience also did not see anything terrible in this. I was glad that Slava and I met. He heard everything, understood, smiled, reacted with his eyes – and it seems to me that he laughed heartily at my mistake. Zaitsev is a professional, delicate, gentle person. He nodded all the time during my speech – he felt that I was saying the right things. Slava is a great man who, with his work in the past, showed the whole world that there is a fashion in the USSR – moreover, such that everyone envied us.
