The Government Commission on Legislative Activities on Monday approved another package of responses to the initiatives of deputies and senators, among which were amendments to the Criminal (CC) and Administrative (CAO) codes. The proposal of the head of the Duma Security Committee Vasily Piskarev to increase the terms under “sabotage” articles of the Criminal Code for the totality of crimes and sentences to 30 and 35 years, respectively, found unconditional approval. The commission also supported the bill of the head of the Federation Council Committee on State Construction, Andrei Klishas, on the liability of electric scooter operators for violating traffic rules, but with the condition of revision.
