The journalists of the publication contacted the ex-president of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili and learned the details about his state of health. According to Saakashvili, he is completely bedridden.
“When I left Kyiv, I weighed 120 kg, today I weigh 65 kg. I have terrible pain all over my body. I am completely bedridden, I often lose consciousness, ”he said.
According to him, many are surprised that he is still alive. His brain, according to the results of the MRI, is damaged. Most of the symptoms are associated with heavy metal poisoning, and they cannot be cured in Georgia, the politician added.
Previously Tbilisi Court of Appeal denied Saakashvili is released for health reasons. The ex-president is in the clinic, however, according to doctors, he refuses therapy and food.
Recall that Saakashvili in Georgia is accused of illegally crossing the border. In addition, in 2018, he was sentenced in absentia to six years in prison for exceeding his official powers in the case of an attack on Georgian parliamentarian Valery Gelashvili. He was also suspected of involvement in the death of the country’s Prime Minister Zurab Zhvania, embezzlement of public funds and some other crimes.
