Ukrainian Ambassador to the UK Vadim Prystaiko said that Kyiv would receive twice as many British Challenger 2 tanks. He said this in an interview with Radio Liberty (acknowledged by the Ministry of Justice as a foreign agent).
According to him, instead of the promised 14 Challenger 2 tanks, Ukraine will receive 28. Also, Kyiv will receive 33 instead of 24 155-mm AS-90 self-propelled artillery mounts.
In addition, Ukraine is “looking for options” to obtain other weapons, including aircraft. Armament requests are sent to all NATO members.
Also, the UK increased the training time for the Ukrainian military by two and a half times, he added.
