Ryazan judokas won 6 awards in the St. Petersburg Aurora League

Ryazan judoists won six medals in the All-Russian St. Petersburg League “Aurora”. This was reported in the press service of the regional Ministry of Sports.
489 athletes from 42 regions of Russia took part in the competition. The Ryazan region was represented by 11 pupils of the sports school of the Olympic reserve “Kometa”. Our judoists won 6 medals – gold, three silver and two bronze.
In the weight category up to 73 kg, Alexander Gulenkov from Ryazan turned out to be the best, who managed to win in all six bouts.
“Silver” – Maria Makarova (weight up to 48 kg), Alexandra Shestopalova (weight up to 52 kg) and Kristina Konovalova (weight up to 70 kg).
“Bronze” was won by Semyon Kulikov (weight up to 60 kg) and Sergey Drynkin (weight up to 90 kg).
Athletes train under the guidance of Honored Coach of Russia Andrey Popov, Honored Master of Sports of Russia Mikhail Pulyaev, Alexander Moskvin and Vladislav Filin.
