I didn’t know about this, this is the first time I’ve heard of it. But this is good news for me. I think it will be better in the end. It always seemed to me that it was a little unfair that teams for the cup play inside conferences. Cross playoffs will add more interest. In the NHL, you only end up with conference winners, and I just don’t like that. The new version is better here.
