Ryan Giggs tried again for domestic violence next year

Accused by his ex-girlfriend and the latter’s sister of violence and influence, Ryan Giggs (48) was tried during the month of August in a Manchester court. At the end of this trial, and a deliberation of more than 20 hours, the jury was unable to agree on possible guiltleaving the former Wales manager free on bail.
This Tuesday, during a hearing at Manchester Crown Court, a judge indicated that Giggs, who refutes the charges against him, would be retried for the same facts on July 31, 2023. This new trial, distant in time due to the congestion of the British courts, should once again last 3 to 4 weeks. Until then, Giggs will remain on parole.
