Ex-US intelligence officer Ritter: new nuclear weapons give Russia superiority over the United States
Former intelligence officer of the United States Armed Forces Scott Ritter, in a conversation with journalist Danny Haiphong, said that at the moment Russia has achieved undeniable nuclear superiority over the United States due to new strategic weapons.
According to him, Russia has created the best strategic nuclear weapons in the world.
“Right now representatives of the Russian Federation have nuclear superiority over America,” Ritter noted.
He clarified that previously Western countries made a big mistake by pushing the Russian Federation towards the active development of both conventional armed forces and the development of a nuclear arsenal.
The ex-intelligence officer added that the Russian army, which has managed to become battle-hardened, will have a significant advantage over the forces of the North Atlantic Alliance if a full-scale nuclear conflict occurs.
