Russia’s luge championship will be held in the Arctic

In the Murmansk region on Wednesday, February 8, the Russian championship in luge starts. The opening of the sporting event will take place in Kandalaksha on the sleigh ice track along Zarechnaya Street at 11:00.
Girls and boys aged 15-17 will fight within the framework of the championship. Competitions will be held in the disciplines “single sled” and “double sled”.
More than 80 lugers from Kandalaksha, Kirovsk and the Irkutsk region will gather to participate in the championship in the Arctic.
The awarding of the winners and prize-winners of the competition will take place on Friday, February 10. It is scheduled for 15:00 to be held in Kandalaksha at the Children’s and Youth Center of the same age on Komsomolskaya Street.
