In Seoul, they said goodbye to the deceased 26-year-old Christina Garder. For the ashes, Christina’s sister flew to Korea. The family collected money for the flight and cremation through social networks.

We talked with the relatives of the deceased girl and found out who the people of Korea are asking to reward after the tragedy.

Christina’s sister flew from Novokuznetsk to South Korea on Wednesday, but she will not reach Seoul until Thursday.

– I didn’t have time to say goodbye, it has already passed. The funeral event was organized by our aunt who lives in Seoul. She paid for the cremation. The memorial service was attended by about 70 people, – says the sister of the deceased Valeria. – Flights and accommodation cost us 240 thousand rubles. Kristina’s friends and acquaintances helped raise the money. To receive compensation, I need to come to Korea, provide documents so that they make sure that I am the sister of the deceased. I hope we get reimbursed.

Relatives of the deceased Yuliana Pak also thanked everyone who helped raise money for the family. Yuliana’s friends posted a post on the network: “We have collected more than 400 thousand rubles, thanks to everyone. The money was given to Yuliana’s relatives, who are organizing the funeral. Transportation is scheduled. They promise to compensate 10 thousand dollars from the Korean side, they help from the Russian side only with consultations. Who should pay how much now and whether he paid, we do not know. While we keep in mind that everything is at our own expense. For embalming gave 4200 dollars. Yuliana’s father borrowed this money from acquaintances and friends.

Seoul continues mourning for the dead. A psychological assistance center for the families of the dead and injured was opened in the city.

It’s about a man whose video has gone viral on the Internet. The young man was at the epicenter of the stampede. He held a camera in his hand and commented on what was happening. “This guy turned out to be a well-known streamer in Korea Pejitho,” wrote Victoria. – During the stampede, one of the young men, who was next to him, spread his elbows and thereby saved the streamer. Then someone extended a hand to the streamer from above and lifted him to a hill, like a balcony. After catching his breath, Pejitho, along with other guys, helped up the guy who had saved him earlier, spreading his elbows. There was not much space upstairs, but the streamer asked people to save someone else.

As a result, about 5-6 people were raised. At some point, one of the young people who was standing next to the streamer yelled at him: “Stop lifting.” But Pejihto picked up another person anyway. It was all filmed and broadcast live. Later, the guy who yelled not to lift people got a flurry of criticism. He was identified because he was on camera. Perhaps for this reason, the stream began to be removed by Internet platforms. And the citizens of Korea are asking to reward the streamer. Now everyone is talking about him. It turned out that earlier he also actively helped people. For example, when in August some areas of Seoul were flooded after heavy rains, he helped pull out a flooded car, cleaned a restaurant flooded from the flood … ”.
