Vladimir City Hall published a video about “Ukrainian and Western recruiters” of Russian youth

The administration of the city of Vladimir published an animated video on its official page on the social network in which it called on citizens to be vigilant. The video claims that “Ukrainian and Western intelligence services are actively recruiting Russian citizens to commit sabotage and terrorist attacks in order to destabilize the situation in Russia.”

The narrative is accompanied by a video: on a sunny street, a huge hand grows above passers-by, throws a net over one of the citizens and turns him into a puppet who throws a “Molodov cocktail” into the window of the building.

“They know how to manipulate people, put them into hypnosis…” continues the voice-over, while the viewer is shown an “agent” in a black suit who sits down next to a Russian on a park bench and for some reason touches him by the neck.

“Recruiters” closely monitor Russians on social networks and look for their weaknesses and problems in order to offer help and thus gain trust, the video says. And now “schoolchildren and students are being offered to set fire to administrative buildings for ridiculous sums.” If the “recruiter” fails to bribe the vigilant Russian, then he “threatens to expose your private photos and videos that you shared in personal correspondence.” But if no incriminating evidence was found on the citizen of the Russian Federation, then the enemy is trying to put pressure on “pressure points.”

“He gives you fake materials about how your country is supposedly waging a war against civilians,” says the voice.

As soon as a Russian agrees with the “recruiter’s” arguments, he “can say that for such a position in your country you are sent to prison, and you have no choice but to help Ukraine.” Then the voice-over reminds us of a life sentence under terrorist articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

“Don’t get caught in the net! Don’t become a victim of recruitment!” – it says at the end.

At the Vladimir City Hall stated “I will raise” that “in general, it was not us who made the video” and that “it is federal” and was released “in Sevastopol, and in Komi, and in Makeyevka.” At the same time, officials assured that “this was not an order to publish it to everyone,” the city administration was simply concerned about the safety of Vladimir youth, began to “look for some kind of information, creative content,” and “went to this video,” but no longer remember where it was he who was found.
