Russians warned about fireworks in cities on the evening of February 23

The Governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev, said that on the evening of February 23, fireworks would take place in the city on the occasion of Defender of the Fatherland Day. According to him, the event is held in accordance with the order of Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu.
“Today at 21:00 <...> artillery salutes will be fired in the hero cities of Sevastopol, Moscow, Volgograd, Kerch, Murmansk, Novorossiysk, St. Petersburg (the hero city of Leningrad), Smolensk, Tula, Razvozhaev said. “And also in the cities where the headquarters of the military districts, fleets, armies and the Caspian flotilla are deployed.”
He added that “an artillery salute will be fired in thirty blank volleys.”
“Now many are afraid of any sound in the city, so I want to warn you again,” the official concluded. “At 21, the fleet will salute our heroes.”
