In the first ten months of 2023, the total amount of car loans issued in Russia reached 1.03 trillion rubles. This figure turned out to be a record in the history of compiling relevant statistics.
The total volume of car loans increased by 88 percent compared to the same period in 2022 and by 10.4 percent compared to 2021, follows from the data National Credit Bureau.
The maximum volume of car loans collected by Russians was in Moscow, the Moscow region, St. Petersburg, the Krasnodar Territory and Tatarstan.
