A Russian-speaking guide from Hurghada (he asked not to give his name, as all Russian women would immediately recognize him) noticed that Russian beauties from this spring finally began to look at local men “as people”.

– Well, for example, before, if I told a Russian girl that I dream of marrying her, even if just for a red word, then she immediately set the condition: we will only live in my country, and not in your desert. And now, on the contrary: they immediately clarify whether it is possible to move to my homeland. The only thing left in the old way is that your women believe that an Arab can marry them.

– But there really are such couples! Especially in Hurghada…

– Yes, in Hurghada there are most of them in the country, namely a few. And that’s a lot, because it’s rare. I mean when such a family lives here. But ours, who studied in Russia and remained there, having married Russian women, on the contrary, are full.

– But if the mentality interferes, as they say, then what difference does it make where the couple lives?

– Huge! The Egyptians, due to the peculiarities of the history of their country, are very labile – flexible, able and not shy to adapt to circumstances. We easily learn foreign languages ​​and assimilate foreign customs. So the Egyptians in Europe and in Russia have no problems with adaptation. But in our homeland, at home, we are obliged to respect not so much religion for the sake of religion, but the elders of our family and the traditions of our clan and people. Therefore, at home, an Egyptian, even having a Russian wife, lives according to local customs, with which she is forced to reckon.

– This is with what? Harem, right?

– Theoretically, a Muslim can marry up to 4 women, inclusive, if he is able to provide each of them with a lifestyle that satisfies her, and to each wife equally. This is in theory, but in practice we have very few such rich men with such iron nerves.

– That is, better one Russian?

– That’s just the point, that is not present. Russian girls are beautiful, many of them are even economic, they love children, the house. But they are completely unbreakable! Proud and not at all flexible. Quite, excuse me, they are not accustomed to respect other people’s orders, even if they moved to their husband’s country. Previously, few people wanted, but now suddenly many are directly striving.

The Russian wives of Egyptian husbands confirm: before, indeed, only a few were ready for such a “feat” as moving to the Land of the Pharaohs for the sake of a husband, the majority dragged their “habibis” around Russian cities and villages. Therefore, in the Russian outback, the Egyptian neighbor does not surprise anyone.

But the private opinion of the Russian wife of another Egyptian, she does not blog and generally prefers to stay in the background:

“Our women are often brave, selfless, kind, capable of empathy and action,” she says. – But for oriental men, in some places they are “old-fashioned”. Russian women somehow do not feel, like Eastern women, where it is better to remain silent, lower your eyes and do it in your own way, but in a quiet way. They argue, fight, stomp their feet, slap the Egyptian husband on the head with a frying pan, and that’s the end of everything. And at the same time, now, apparently, having decided to move, they are looking not for any Egyptian beggar, but for a wealthy Egyptian. It’s a utopia, girls!

– But you are Russian, and your husband owns a chain of hotels! Why can’t others?

– I was brought up in a Tatar family and I understand what respect for a man is in an oriental family. Yes, this is often only an appearance of humility, but one should not be lazy to portray it! It is important. And if you contradict all the time, then not only the rich, even the poor will not need you. Even rich Egyptians have very important shortcomings: they have very demanding and capricious relatives, especially sisters and mothers. If you somehow get through to their son-brother, be prepared for a woman’s persecution.

Here are some more tips that Russian wives have collected for those who aspire to be friends with them. A Muslim husband at any time has the right to take a second wife, even a marriage contract does not protect against this. Moreover, he himself may not want to, but if an older member demands it – for example, a father or mother – the son cannot disobey. Divorce is the only thing that a foreign wife has the right to, no one will share children or property with her, at most they will buy the cheapest ticket home.
