The bat bit the woman after falling on her from the attic. The owner of the apartment, as well as her pet dog and cat from rabies. It takes 10 days to test if the bat itself has rabies. The woman agreed to keep the animal at home in a cage during this period. Specialists of the veterinary station visit the animal daily.
Almost a week since the start of observation, no clinical signs of rabies have been detected in the bat, they said at the Mikhailovka animal disease control station.
