Far Eastern Federal and Vladivostok State Universities (FEFU and VVGU) are going to open eSports development centers.
Thus, the FEFU leadership intends to create by 2024 several zones with computers for cybersportsmen, a commentator’s booth, as well as a space for spectators who will watch the competitions within the walls of the university. At the same time, the esports development center will be open both to members of the university team and to ordinary students and employees of the university.
A special “Cyber Arena” will start working at VSSU. In this space, equipped with powerful gaming computers and all the necessary equipment, students will be able to prepare for eSports competitions. The official opening is scheduled for June 23, and the first qualifying tournaments will be held in September this year.
