Russian theater and film actor Alexander Oleshko recalled how the host Lera Kudryavtseva participated in the Internet show Comment Out, after which she rudely commented on its publication on Instagram (banned in Russia; owned by Meta, which is recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation). There was a quarrel. The artist spoke about this in an interview with journalist David Winner on YouTube, calling the host of the show Vladimir Marconi “a strange figure.”
Oleshko clarified that Kudryavtseva commented on the post dedicated to the story of gratitude from the President of Russia.
“… they insult not only me in this way, they insult the country, they insult the president, they insult my work,” the actor said. He added that before that he communicated well with the presenter and this incident simply shocked him.
In addition, the artist considered Comment Out a bawdy show and called its host Marconi a “weird figure” who reads from a sheet.
The Comment Out series with Kudryavtseva was filmed on May 6, 2021. During the show, she was given a task: to swallow a live fish or leave a cheeky comment under Oleshko’s post about gratitude from the President of the Russian Federation. The contestant chose the second option, saying that she would contact the actor later and apologize to him. However, Oleshko stopped answering her calls. On the network, the presenter turned to the fans with a request for help.
