Criminal incidents have become more frequent

October, which has not yet ended, turned out to be fruitful for attacks on tourists from the Russian Federation in Thailand, but in the case of a transgender attack on a Russian, the Thai authorities were looking not for the criminal, but for the victim.

If you believe the Thai press, it happened on October 13 at one of the southern resorts of Pattaya, where there are especially many Russian tourists. One of them was attacked by a local transsexual named Lizzie, who chased the Russian vacationer for a long time, kicking him and threatening him with the police. Given the unclear motive of the attacker, the strange details of the crime and the subsequent disappearance of the victim, the Pattaya authorities opened a criminal case in order to initiate a full-scale investigation and bring the case to court.

“We wanted to show Russian tourists that we are always ready to help,” a local Russian-speaking guide named Somchai comments on a Pattaya newspaper report. “And they were looking for the victim to write a statement; without this, the court will not accept the materials.”

– That is, the Pattaya police knew that the victim was alive and well, and not “missing”, as your newspapers wrote?

– I knew, of course. Yama was immediately caught and he confessed.

– Yam – who is this? And what did he confess to?

– Yam is the real male name of the criminal. Admitted to landing on Walking Street (red light street in Pattaya – author) to a tourist from Russia named Movlan in order to offer him his services. And for some reason he freaked out and threw beer in his – that is, her – face. And he called me names.

His friends took him away, apparently persuaded him not to get involved, since the whole company was drunk. They went towards the embankment, and Lizzie followed them, shouting that they would call the police. And when Movlan did not react, she beat him herself. She repents of this.

Somchai’s words explain the video that circulated the Thai segment of the Internet the day after the crime: on an evening Pattaya beach, a transgender Thai woman chases an oriental-looking tourist, kicking him.

Lizzie, aka Thai Yam, was detained by the police in hot pursuit and kept in custody until her victim was discovered. It was not without difficulty that the victim was found. According to his friends, he is embarrassed by what happened and wants to forget it as soon as possible, so he will not write any statement.

Meanwhile, in another Thai province, Nakhon Sawan, a 27-year-old Russian tourist named Artyom was attacked by a local 35-year-old resident, Wanchalerm Srifrison. Strictly speaking, Srifrison, who was riding a bike, had an argument with the local taxi driver in which Artem was riding. The hot Thais stopped and began to sort things out right in the middle of the road. The Russian tourist also got out of the car and tried to become a peacemaker in the dispute between the parties, but was immediately punched in the face. However, having cooled down, the attacker apologized to our vacationer and even surrendered to the police.

“These are still flowers,” says Mr. Meng, a representative of the Pattaya tourist police. – We have a British citizen over there. The day before yesterday he and his wife arrived on a week-long tour, and on the second night she left him, taking all his money, bank cards, phone and clothes. He came to us in his underpants to telephone the British Embassy in Bangkok. He asks them to send him money for a ticket home. And he didn’t even quarrel with his wife, he said, “Thailand just had that effect on her.”
