Russian textbook of the Ukrainian language should be created by the end of 2022

A textbook of the classical Ukrainian language may appear in the LPR, DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions by the end of 2022, TASS reports citing First Deputy Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Alexander Bugaev.
“It has to be very high quality. It should be a beautiful Ukrainian language textbook. And it is precisely such a textbook on classical Soviet foundations that is being prepared. It will be a textbook that carries all the beauty of the Ukrainian, real Ukrainian language,” he commented on the creation of a textbook on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF).
According to the First Deputy Minister, for the first educational cycle, the Russian department has prepared methodological recommendations for schools where the Ukrainian language will be taught as a native language, as well as optional.
“Of course, such a textbook will appear in the near future, and we will bring it to the territories,” Bugaev assured. On August 31, the Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Sergey Kravtsov announced the preparation of a Ukrainian language textbook.
