In Buryatia, doctors saved the life of a child who, through carelessness, ran into a pitchfork and pierced his head. This was reported on the telegram channel of the Children’s Republican Clinical Hospital.
While preparing hay for the winter, 13-year-old Artyom stood on a car and compacted the grass. The cleaning equipment entered the orbit of the left eye with an exit in the occipital region, miraculously not touching the eyes.
The teenager was hospitalized in the department of anesthesiology and intensive care of the Children’s Clinical Hospital. He was in serious condition, the child was put into an artificial coma and connected to a ventilator.
A comprehensive team of doctors was able to get the boy back on his feet in just 3 months. After discharge, he will have to undergo several more types of examinations, but so far the dynamics are only positive.
