In Salekhard (Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug), a Russian broke the nose of a teenager in the Rostic’s cafe. The boy’s mother posted the story online, and the police press service URA.RU They said that after this a criminal case was opened.

As the victim’s mother wrote in the “Overheard in Salekhard” group on the Vkontakte social network, the incident occurred on December 24, 2023. The man was disturbed by the conversation of teenagers sitting nearby, whose company mainly consisted of schoolgirls, the post says.

“…Having heard a phrase from one of the girls addressed to his friends, he covered them with a multi-story obscenity, did not stop there and did not calm down, and at some point he approached the children and broke my child’s nose with a precise blow to the bridge of the nose,” she said woman.

According to the Russian woman, the man boasted that he was “teaching life to youngsters” in this way, and the children allegedly insulted his parents with their speeches. The arriving police drew up a report, and later a criminal case was opened into the incident. The teenager’s mother also suspects that the man may be a former law enforcement officer, since, according to her, he communicated warmly with law enforcement officers.

The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug explained that the police are indeed investigating a criminal case on the basis of intentional infliction of minor bodily harm. Details about the identity of the attacker have not been disclosed.
