Russian students created a neural network to search for explosive devices in public places

Students of the Kazan State Power Engineering University presented a system that automatically recognizes weapons, explosives and other items that threaten security.
The project is being implemented as part of the “Platforms of University Technological Entrepreneurship” program. According to rt.coma system called SBA (Scan-Based Access), operates on the principle of a neural network.
SBA is compatible with any type of scanner and passes the information to the operator, who can perform additional verification.
