In Karelia, a lyceum teacher put a schoolboy with his back to the blackboard for the entire lesson because he came to school in a jacket with the US flag. This is stated in a message published in the group of the city of Kostomuksha in “In contact with“.
According to the boy’s parents, the teacher explained her actions by her unwillingness to see the American flag.
The student’s father added that there were numbers with the US flag on the front of the jacket, while it was purchased before the start of the events in Ukraine. According to the man, his son did not engage in any campaign work and did not bring paraphernalia to the school that contradicts the “patriotism of the country.” Parents intend to report the incident to the school management.
Social media users are divided over this story. Some supported the parents of the student, others sided with the teacher and said that adults should monitor the appearance of their children.
