Russian tennis player Alexander Shevchenko beat Frenchman Pierre-Hugues Herbert in the semi-finals of the ATP 250 competition in Metz. The game ended with a score of 6:4, 6:4 in favor of the Russian.

Alexander Shevchenko reached the final of a tournament at the ATP level for the first time in his career. His next opponent will be the winner of the match between Italian Fabio Fagnini and Frenchman Hugo Humbert. The prize fund of the tournament is €562 thousand.
