Russian schoolchildren won the International Olympiad in Informatics

Russian participants of the 35th International Olympiad in Informatics in Hungary received gold medals. This is reported on website Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation. The Olympiad was held from August 28 to September 4.
The composition of the Russian team:
- Gimran Abdullin, boarding school No. 2 in Kazan;
- Ivan Piskarev, school number 2086 in Moscow;
- Valery Rodionov, Lyceum named after N.I. Lobachevsky KFU in Kazan;
- Anton Stepanov, Lyceum “Second School” named after V.F. Ovchinnikov” in Moscow.
The Olympiad consisted of two rounds, each of which was given five hours. During this time, the participants had to solve and program three algorithmic tasks. In 2022, at the Informatics Olympiad, the Russian team won three gold and one silver medals.
