AST Publishing House stopped paying Ulitskaya after her words about transfers to Ukraine
The largest publishing house in the Russian Federation, AST, stopped paying the writer Lyudmila Ulitskaya after her statements about transferring funds to Ukraine. The press service of the publishing house informed about this.
The day before, the 80-year-old writer became an involuntary participant in a conversation with pranksters Vovan and Lexus. Ulitskaya received a call on behalf of the head of the office of the President of Ukraine Andrei Ermak and started a conversation regarding the sale of her books. In particular, the interlocutors asked the woman where the funds from the sales of her works go.
It turned out that the Russian woman sends her income to Ukraine, although the writer did not disclose the details. Lyudmila also admitted that she has a good attitude towards Vladimir Zelensky.
Last year there were rumors that Ulitskaya was involved in financing the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but later the writer denied these accusations.
