During the debate, candidates for the post of President of the Russian Federation discussed the prospects for completing the special military operation that the Russian Armed Forces are conducting in Ukraine.

“Today there is only one prospect for us – the complete defeat of Ukraine,” said Communist Party candidate Nikolai Kharitonov, adding that Kyiv must be forced to capitulate and then negotiate on Russia’s terms.

The candidate from the New People party, Vladislav Davankov, in turn, said that he does not accept statements about the need to “incinerate” Ukraine. He agreed that it is difficult to sit down at the negotiating table and start reaching an agreement. He also called it important that the peace achieved be on Russia’s terms. At the same time, Davankov believes that “no one needs to freeze the conflict.”

LDPR candidate Leonid Slutsky called for doing everything possible and impossible to win and complete the SVO this year. To do this, he proposed to paralyze the railway system of Ukraine in order to stop the delivery of Western equipment to the Northern Military District zone from Polish Rzeszow through Lvov.

Let us remind you that voting in the Russian presidential elections will take place on March 15, 16 and 17. The current head of state, Vladimir Putin, decided not to take part in the debate.
