The training center of the Central Clinical Hospital of St. Alexis has opened courses in tactical medicine. The ROC website informs about innovations.
Students in the courses learn the skills of providing self-help and mutual assistance in emergency situations and combat operations. In addition, skills to stop bleeding are studied, as well as elements of evacuation.
“Many people want to learn how to properly provide first aid to the wounded,” said Alexei Zarov, chief doctor of the church hospital. “To make a difference where it’s most needed right now.” Much attention on the course, according to him, is given to the formation of an individual first-aid kit – it must meet modern requirements.
The classes are reportedly organized in conjunction with the Tactical Medicine Training Center.
