“The distributors understand that due to the current situation, Rotaru’s performance is impossible, so we propose replacing her with another singer,” the concert organizer explained to MK. – I didn’t even contact Sofia Mikhailovna personally, because I understand everything. She was always as careful as possible, especially in such acute moments.
Former director of Sofia Mikhailovna Sergei Lavrov, in a conversation with MK correspondents, confirmed that Rotaru will not come to Moscow this year.
“Sofia Mikhailovna had already missed one of the years and did not come to Russia when martial law was declared in Ukraine,” explains Sergei. – She also missed last year. She won’t be there again this year. She hardly works at all now and has little contact with anyone.
At the same time, Lavrov is not surprised by the demand for Rotaru at New Year’s parties. According to him, the demand for Sofia Mikhailovna has always been consistently high.
By the way, the star earned very good money at private parties. Before the start of the SVO, the singer asked for one hundred thousand euros or more for each performance. Every month the star appeared on stage two to five times. After the start of the SVO, the singer stopped earning money. Now the artist lives on previously saved money.
