The Minister of Youth Policy of the Samara Region, Sergei Burtsev, urgently resigned amid the LGBT scandal that erupted in the region (LGBT is recognized as an extremist movement in Russia). State Duma deputy Alexander Khinshtein announced this on Thursday, April 11, in his Telegram channel.
According to the politician, this happened just a few hours after he spoke about the minister’s dubious personal life and about the vacation spent in the same room with a subordinate.
Burtsev wrote on his page on the social network: “Despite the fact that I absolutely disagree with the assumptions voiced and refute them, I consider it wrong to cast a shadow on the youth policy of the region.”
The deputy suggested that the forced resignation of the minister could have been initiated by the regional governor, who decided to stop another scandal.
Earlier today Khinshtein suggestedthat the Minister of Youth Policy of the Samara Region Sergei Burtsev and his subordinate Andrei Zolotukhin are in a homosexual relationship.
