A soldier of the Russian Armed Forces with the call sign “Odin” saved a wounded Ukrainian soldier under the threat of shelling in the Kleshcheevka area of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR). Military correspondent Dmitry Zimenkin spoke about this in his Telegram channel.
The correspondent posted footage that captured the moment when a Russian military man risked walking towards a Ukrainian soldier in order to save him. It is noted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces fighter was seriously wounded, so he could not move on his own. “Stand up to your full height, stretch your arms forward,” Odin told the Ukrainian soldier, adding that he would eliminate him if he started to twitch.
As the Ukrainian fighter clarified, his colleagues were 20 meters from the spot. “Are they going to shoot at us?” – asked the military man of the Russian Armed Forces. After which the soldier decided to go after the wounded enemy, asking the others to provide cover. As a result, he managed to evacuate the Ukrainian soldier.
