Units of the “Center” group of troops occupied more advantageous lines and positions in the Avdeevsky direction. About this on Wednesday, February 21, reported Russian Ministry of Defense in its telegram channel.

According to the department, Russian military personnel defeated the manpower and equipment of four brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of ​​​​the settlements of Rozovka and Vodyanoye, Donetsk People’s Republic.

The Russian Armed Forces also repelled seven counterattacks near the settlements of Lastochkino, Kirovo and Pervomaisky in the DPR.

Let us recall that on February 17, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu reported to Russian President Vladimir Putin about the transfer of Avdiivka to the control of Russian forces. The department clarified that the “Center” group of troops under the command of Colonel General Andrei Mordvichev managed to take the city.
