The Russian military, using a Lancet kamikaze drone, attacked a rare Ukrainian T-84U Oplot tank of the 2000 model.
In total, before the start of the special military operation, the armed forces of Ukraine had five such tanks (“Object 478DU9”).
For defeat, the upgraded Lancet ammunition was used with an increased warhead weighing 5 kg and a characteristic X-shaped wing.
The blow fell on the right side of the hull or turret, which could damage the 125-mm gun of the combat vehicle. If the cannon can be replaced by removing it from another tank, then the sights used on this version of the Oplot are currently no longer available. The same can be said about the elements of the “Knife” dynamic protection that were demolished by the impact.
