Russian localization may appear in GTA VI – Kommersant

American company Rockstar published I have a vacancy on my website for a Russian localization tester for the Rockstar Lincoln office in the UK. At the moment, only one project that Rockstar is involved in is known – GTA VI.
The Rockstar Lincoln office primarily deals with the localization of the studio’s products into other languages, from which we can conclude that GTA VI will likely receive a text translation into Russian. GTA VI is expected to release in early 2025 on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, which corresponds to the dates of Rockstar Lincoln’s 12-month contract (that is, until March 2025).
Released in December 2023, the debut trailer and game page for GTA VI on the official Rockstar website were translated into Russian. Previously, Rockstar announced that it would return remote workers to work in the office starting in April 2024 as production of GTA VI approaches its final stages.
