Russian guardsmen of Buryatia took silver at the shooting championship

Employees of the National Guard in the Republic of Buryatia became winners of the championship in shooting from military handguns among employees and military personnel of the National Guard of Russia.
Competitions were held in the Irkutsk region. 13 teams competed for the Challenge Cup of Anatoly Asrabayev, Olympic medalist.
For several days, the participants performed various exercises in shooting with pistols, sniper rifles and automatic weapons. Athletes hit targets from various distances in conditions close to combat as much as possible. Snipers fired both at speed and without regard to time.
The Buryat Russian Guards in the team of the Eastern District of the Russian Guard won silver in the team event and slightly lost to the leaders – the team of the Siberian District. “Bronze” was taken by employees and military personnel of the North Caucasus District.
Our employees showed high results in the individual championship. So, the OMON fighter “Krechet”, police warrant officer Ivan B. and police major Vyacheslav B. passed the standard for master of sports and candidate for master of sports, respectively.
