Russian gamers want to play games based on the “Brother” dilogy

Over half of Russians would like to play video games based on series or films. Of the Russian films, the dilogy “Brother” (18%) is in the lead, followed by “The Last Hero” (15%) and “Night Watch” (13%). This is reported in a new study by VK Play.
Of foreign films, Russian gamers would most like to see an adaptation of Sherlock Holmes and Avatar (22% each), as well as Jumanji (19%). Among the most popular TV series are Game of Thrones (12%), Lost and The Walking Dead (11% each). The popular series Stranger Things, Wednesday and Rick and Morty are not preferred for adaptations among Russian gamers.
In general, Russians named action and fantasy genres as the most interesting for video game adaptations (21% each), followed by adventure films (18%), comedies and detective stories (17% each). Of lesser interest are historical films and fairy tales (12% each), as well as horror films and thrillers (9% each).
