The blacklist, in particular, included the head of the intelligence command of the Canadian Armed Forces Michael Wright, Foreign Ministry spokesman Adrien Blanchard, the general director of the Sispan shipyards Mark Lamar, the deputy head of the command of special operations forces Stephen Hunter, the Catholic priest Raymond de Souza and the Protestant pastor Brent Hawks.
On August 2, Canada added 43 individuals and 17 legal entities from Russia to the updated sanctions list. It included Anton Anisimov, head of international broadcasting of the Sputnik news agency and radio. The rest of the individuals on the list are Russian servicemen from the 65th motorized rifle brigade of the 35th combined arms army.
On July 7, the updated list included Roskomnadzor, Rossotrudnichestvo and several publications and TV channels, as well as the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill and TV presenter of Channel One Ekaterina Andreeva.
