Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that Russia had received assurances from the Kazakh authorities that Astana had nothing to do with the installation of a “yurt of invincibility” in the Ukrainian city of Bucha. Earlier this was reported by a number of media outlets.
“We were assured that <...> the information does not correspond to reality and the authorities of the Republic have nothing to do with it,” Zakharova said in a comment.
She added that “the Russian side has no reason not to trust close partners.” At the same time, the representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry added that “an official comment by our friends” is desirable “in order to avoid further” promotion “of this topic.”
