Exit polls show Putin with over 87% of votes
On Sunday, March 17, the last day of voting in the Russian presidential elections took place. According to preliminary exit poll results, Vladimir Putin won over 87% of the votes.
Thus, according to VTsIOM data, the current head of state gains 87%, Nikolai Kharitonov (Communist Party of the Russian Federation) – 4.6%, Vladislav Davankov (New People) – 4.2%, Leonid Slutsky (LDPR) – 3%.
The Public Opinion Foundation (FOM) has similar results: Putin – 87.8%, Kharitonov – 4.7%, Davankov – 3.6%, Leonid Slutsky – 2.5%.
It is worth noting that the CEC also published preliminary results voting in which Vladimir Putin wins with 87.86% of the votes.
