Russian doctors have experimentally proven the harm from wearing masks for a long time

Doctors at the Kuzbass Emergency Hospital named after Podgorbunsky conducted an experiment that proved the harm from long-term wearing of medical masks. Let us remind you that the debate about the protective properties of masks in the medical community became especially intensified during the Covid pandemic and has not subsided to this day.

In the name of scientific goals, one of the hospital employees “sacrificed” himself: he put on PPE and did not take it off his face for three hours. After this, specialists took swabs from the surface of the protective agent, where, of course, bacteria had multiplied during this time, and sowed them in a blood hangar, that is, in an environment favorable for the development of microorganisms. As a result, rapid proliferation of hemolytic staphylococcus bacteria was revealed. As doctors explain, staphylococcus is generally considered a conditionally pathogenic microorganism, but under unfavorable conditions it can turn into a pathogenic microorganism for the human body.

An experiment by Kuzbass doctors proved that the same medical mask should not be worn for more than two hours.

As comments from social media users show, Russians have learned these rules well during Covid. “Anyone understands that wearing a mask leads to the accumulation of bacteria on it, in a word, all sorts of infections, in an amicable way, it must be changed every hour,” said Maria, a resident of Barnaul. But knowing these rules, however, does not mean that all citizens follow them, because changing masks so often is too expensive for most of their “wearers.”

“Medical masks are not harmful if you follow the rules of use,” Moscow infectious disease doctor Anastasia Kozhevnikova commented to MK. – The rules are as follows: first, use the mask for no more than two hours.

Second, immediately replace the mask if it gets wet (wet), even if less than two hours have passed since use. Third, do not touch the attached mask with your hands. And the fourth rule is to thoroughly wash your hands with soap or treat them with an alcohol-containing product after touching a used or used mask.
