Gavrilov said that NATO is not going to get directly involved in the conflict in Ukraine
Contacts in Vienna prove that NATO is not going to get directly involved in the conflict in Ukraine. This was announced by the head of the Russian delegation at the talks in Vienna on issues of military security and arms control Konstantin Gavrilov.
According to Gavrilov, contacts in Vienna show that the North Atlantic Alliance does not intend to be directly involved in the Ukrainian conflict. At the same time, he stressed that the members of the alliance would still provoke Moscow in every possible way, trying to “test it for strength.”
The diplomat also cited as an example the recent naval exercises of the Baltops-23 alliance with the participation of 20 countries, which took place in the Baltic Sea. The exercises were held near the borders of the Russian Federation and had as their educational goal the development of strikes on the territory of the country.
Gavrilov assured that such actions could only deepen the confrontation and lead to unpredictable developments.
