FSB: Popov, a resident of the Yaroslavl region, convicted of attempting to set fire to a military registration and enlistment office, was planning terrorist attacks
22-year-old Denis Popov, a resident of the Yaroslavl region, sentenced to 8 years for attempting to set fire to a military registration and enlistment office, planned to commit terrorist attacks and join the Armed Forces of Ukraine, TASS reports citing the FSB CSO.
According to the Center for Public Relations of the special services, Popov was recruited into the ranks of a terrorist organization to carry out subversive and terrorist acts on the territory of Russia.
Following the instructions of his curators, the Russian in social networks called for the commission of crimes against the participants of the NWO and prepared terrorist attacks on transport and energy infrastructure facilities and in administrative buildings.
In July, Popov was detained by the FSB when he was about to pelt the military commissar of the Uglich district with bottles of Molotov cocktails. During a search, 5 more bottles with a flammable mixture were found at his house.
After the arrest, Popov confessed to his plans.
The 2nd Western District Military Court found Popov guilty of terrorism and sentenced him. As noted in the TsOS FSB, the verdict has already entered into force.
